Notice for Visa Application

According to the latest visa regulations issued by the relevant Chinese Government authorities, as from 15^th of April, 2008, visa applicants are requested to pay attention to the following requirements:

1)    For tourist visa (L) applicants, they need to provide return air tickets and confirmation of hotel reservations. If visiting families or friends in China, applicants are required to provide an invitation letter allowing them to stay at their apartment with their street number and contact information, a copy of the inviter's passport and valid Chinese visa, marriage or kindred certificates as well as return air tickets.

2)    For business visa (F) applicants, they need to provide Visa Notice Form(See the sample below) from the Chinese authorized organizations*, business letter from their company (giving introduction, purpose and guarantee), return air tickets, and confirmation of the hotel reservations in China.

3)    For none Danish citizens, they have to apply for visas in the Chinese Embassies or Consulates General in their own countries, unless they have valid Danish residence permits, or other evidence showing that they are legally working or living in Demark.

* Visa Notice Form can be obtained through application from the relevant government offices (such as Provincial Foreign Affairs Office (FAO), Education Bureau, Foreign Trade & Commerce Bureau, etc. in China) authorized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Please check with the FAO in a local City or Province for how you can apply for this form.
